Children from the Montessori Sr. Secondary School, Whitefield celebrated the 79th  Independence Day on 15th of August, 2025 with full zeal and Zest. All the children were dressed in tricolor to represent the National Flag. The teachers of the high school guided their respective class students and the children presented different patriotic dance and song performances painting the entire campus in the flamboyant hues of Saffron, White and Green. They also stood up in respect and sang the National Anthem together. The children were educated on the history and importance of freedom and Independence in our country. A “boycott foreign goods” rally in Montessori school can be a powerful way to promote local products and foster a sense of national pride, especially when linked to historical movements like the Swadeshi movement. Such rallies can educate students about the economic and social impact of supporting local businesses and industries, encouraging them to make conscious consumption choices.

 

 

 

 

 
 
Chess is a game we should win with grace and lose with dignity. People should develop chess as a skill, not only to compete with others during a tournament but to engage in as a recreational activity during one’s spare time too. Chess is an incredibly beneficial pastime, because playing chess results in better brain function, improved memory and cognitive abilities, strategic thinking and attention improvement. Chess, at School is particularly encouraged from this point of view. Most children enjoy playing the game simply as a recreational activity, while it is works alongside to boost their mental faculties. Of course, it is a moment of immense pride when our students are selected to play in competitions, particularly at the national level. This year our students from our Montessori School qualified to compete in the State championship. The state level Chess Championship was held from 8th & 9th August, 2025. Our students were named the top four in the U-19 state championship. They then proceeded to participate in the state championship. We are all very proud of our team.

 

The Pre-Primary Section of Montessori i-Kids organized PTM on 26th July, 2025 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. The event witnessed around 85% attendance thus displaying enthusiastic interest among parents for the smooth working and progress of the school. The main objective of the meeting was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to discuss student’s performance and devise ways to enrich their learning experience. The teachers briefed the parents about their ward’s performance during first term. Together they identified the areas of strength and weakness of the child and sorted out ways to boost the child’s performance. Parents were encouraged to appreciate student’s participation in all academic activities. This helped to create the necessary consciousness among parents to stimulate their interest in the students and the school. They gave their view points and suggestions to teachers regarding the school and its development. Handouts were personally given to each parent to enlighten them about vision, mission, core values and objectives. Montessori School, in collaboration with Asst. Commissioner of Income Taxes, organized awareness Programme to educate students, parents, and teachers about India’s taxation system and new tax reforms. A video on Income Tax awareness was showcased, highlighting the importance of tax compliance. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by principal, expressing gratitude to the guests, participants, and organizers. The “Sip, Snack, and Slay” program in schools refers to a variety of extracurricular activities or events that combine social and creative elements, often with a focus on personal development or skill-building. The “Sip” and “Snack” aspects typically involve refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere, while “Slay” implies a sense of accomplishment, confidence, or style. These programs can range from art workshops where participants create and enjoy refreshments to more casual gatherings focused on social interaction and personal growth.

A proud achievement to our K.SRUTHI, of Montessori 10th Techno Student has achieved 3rd position at Junior Inter Dist. Aquatic Championship. Our District Collector and  Magistrate, Sri Ranjith Basha garu felicitated and appreciated to Sruthi in his chamber.

 

 

 

Montessori Sr Secondary school organized a CPR training session was conducted for students of Class X in collaboration with trainers from Govt. Hospital, who provided expert guidance on the importance of Cardio pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic life-saving techniques. During the session, students were introduced to the fundamentals of CPR, including the steps for performing chest compressions and rescue breaths. The trainers demonstrated proper techniques using CPR mannequins, allowing the students to practice the procedures in a hands-on environment. The students were also educated about the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and how to assess and respond to different emergency scenarios.

In connection with Swachha Andhra Day,” Paper to purpose” program  developed hands on experience of paper bag making along with raised awareness on environmental benefits of paper bag over plastic bag usage. Moreover students of grade 6 celebrated World emoji day which boosted team work and enhanced emoji literacy and showcased their spontaneity tale spinning ability as well.

Ethnic typically refers to traditional clothing styles deeply rooted in a specific culture, while “western” usually denotes clothing styles common in Western countries, often characterized by more standardized and globalized trends.

Sugar board awareness programme for 8th & 9th students was organized. Smt. SRI LAKSHMI & Dr. JANARDAN REDDY presided the programme. Students earned hands on experience about the nutrient value and sugar content of various branded junk food stuff. They were made aware of the health consequences due to excess sugar consumption healthy swaps. The event ended with a sugar free pledge.

In the memory of the greatest pioneer educational systems, we uphold a tribute to our ingenious founder Late P. KALYANAMMA Garu. She was a feminine amalgamation of knowledge, determination, compassion and brilliance, a mascot with a golden touch who pioneered the great legacy of Montessori Schools. Every time we take a trip down the memory lane, we recollect the comforting smile, her loving eyes and her wise perceptions. A huge cuddle to the everlasting light…. She will be for ever in our hearts.

In compliance with the orders of Andhra Pradesh, we scheduled Mega Parent Teacher Meeting 2.0. today in the school from 10am to 1pm. The meeting was a success as we received a huge response from the wonderful parents. It was well organized involving parents, teachers and students. ‘Ek ped maa ke nam’ initiative also was taken up. We are obliged by the participation of every parent.
Mr. Sujan Kumar,  Eagle team Sub Inspector of Police had an interaction with students of our school. He said that the youth have  to stay away from alcohol and drugs. He explained how drugs work on the brain and how drug addiction gradually affects humans  through powerpoint presentation. Montessori School organized an awareness program and role-play to commemorate World Zoonosis Day. The event aimed to educate students about scenarios of zoonotic diseases, their transmission, and prevention.- Emphasis was laid on importance of hygiene, vaccination, and responsible animal handling. The program successfully promoted a better understanding of the risks and preventive measures.Montessori celebrated Doctor’s Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude towards the entire doctor fraternity. Dr. Shravya Reddy, Associate professor of Pediatrics and Medical educator, Viswabharati Medical College and Dr. D Mayookha Reddy addressed grade VI & VII students. Their insights on health and wellness, expert advices experiences inspired the attendees. The students too interacted with intense, gusto.
On 23 June, Olympic Day is celebrated all around the world: thousands of people young and old participate in sports including such runs, exhibitions, and educational seminars. The Montessori School also participated in various Games to commemorate the birth of the modern Olympic Games. Congratulate to our Montessori A-Camp Chess Champ Devi priya P (5th class) for 4TH Place in F-09 Category   @ Great Minds  ALL INDIA OPEN FIDE RATED CHESS TOURNAMENT  on 22nd June 2025 @  Mysore. International Yoga Day was celebrated by Montessori schools on 21st June 2025 on the theme ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’ to instill the importance of Physical fitness and Mental alertness among students. The students learnt to maintain balance, peace and poise which can act as a sublime expression of the quest for excellence for synthesis and harmony. Various yoga postures and asanas including pranayama and meditation were performed by the students.A proud achievement to our S K. Mohammad Sohail , Montessori Techno Student has achieved 640 marks in NEET Exam with  All India 133 rank . Our District Collector and  Magistrate, Sri Ranjith Basha garu felicitated and appreciated to Sohail in his chamber today.Montessorians D. Saadhvika of 9 MLO for receiving 1 prize, Shravya Sudha of 9 MLO and Yashmitha Radhi of VIII TECHNO bagged 1st prize in Drawing Competitionin connection with World Environment Day.
