Mrs. Kalyanamma, M.A,B.Ed better known as ‘Big Aunty’ to students and teachers of her schools, started her career 40 years ago and worked relentlessly with unstinting vigour and zeal. She is a self-made person.

From her childhood Mrs. Kalyanamma had a strong character complemented with logical thinking and insightful analysis. She had an innate quality never to accept failure and not to stop till the task was accomplished. Having read about Maria Montessori, and been inspired and influenced by her main motto, “Help the child to help himself”, she underwent training in Montessori system of education.

She is the Chief Patron of Montessori Institutions in Kurnool. Her persona speaks volumes of her dedicated service in the field of education. She has the unique distinction of being trained in Montessori Methodology of Education and for having revolutionised the teaching methods to promote the overall development of a child.
